Meet the Vendor: Butter & Me
Goodly is a small, woman-owned business, and we love to collaborate with other small businesses that are woman-owned. In the past we’ve introduced you to vendors like Yes Cocktail and Poketo. This month we’d like to tell you all about our dreamy counterpart in lady entrepreneurship, Butter & Me!
Founder Vivian Wong began her self care journey in 2013, when she tried to find effective and natural solutions for her husband, Yik, who has eczema. He had found no relief in over-the-counter products, so Vivian simply started making them on her own, making sure to use only plant-based ingredients. She was thrilled when her concoctions brought him relief and then continued to make all-natural, minimalist skin care products for herself and friends. Positive feedback gave her the confidence to bring her selfcare items to the rest of the world!
We’re so glad Vivian heard that positive feedback. As our own founder and CEO, Brooke English can attest, entrepreneurship isn’t for the faint of heart. “Believing in yourself is the fuel that drives your ability to get up each and every day,” she says. “To keep trying, to keep going, and to keep learning.”
We’re thrilled that Butter & Me kept going! Because we’re 100% behind their philosophy that everyone should be able to enjoy skincare products that are simple in ingredients, yet effective in giving us healthy skin.
