Top 10 Back-to-School Must Haves
It might feel just a bit too soon to hear the words, “back to school supplies.” Summer’s not over yet! The days are still long, it’s hot outside and we’re busy planning trips to swimming pools, hosting backyard barbecues or just spending our evenings stargazing on a blanket.
Can you tell we kind of never want summer to end?
Still, the fact is that school season is just around the corner. We want to make sure you’re prepared! Or at least avoid any last-minute trips to some big box store for plain, boring school supplies. What you bring to class — no matter if that’s elementary school, high school or college — should be as stylish and colorful as it is useful.
We offer so many fabulous supplies and gifts for students, but we were (eventually, and with some difficulty) able to produce a list of our Top 10 Back To School must haves!
1) Pencil and Pen Sets
While many people take notes on a laptop these days, studies have shown that writing things out by hand improves your memory. To take notes by hand, you need a good writing tool! While some of our pens are sleek and sophisticated — ideal to carry when you want to make a good impression — most of our writing utensils are, in fact, hilarious.

You know this one goes without saying! Even though we’ve outgrown the drawer, fun and colorful socks are still near and dear to our hearts. 4) Stress Ball / Rubber Band Ball
You can find so many uses for rubber bands that it’s wise to always have them around. But did you know that a big ol’ rubber band ball is also a fabulous stress ball? Because it totally is! The physical release created by squeezing stress balls can actually decrease physical sensations of stress. So go ahead, grab one of these colorful rubber band balls while you’re studying or otherwise stressing out. They really work!
5) Candles
This one might be better suited for older kids and college students, but a soothing candle scent may be a great way to help you focus while studying. Scented candles can also help relieve stress, so they can be the perfect way to end a study session! 6) Snack Food
All that learning can make a student mighty hungry! Your brain needs fuel to continue learning, after all.
